Rana is an Egyptian writer who was born and raised in Cairo, Egypt in 1996.

She graduated from Ain Shams University with a Bachelor’s Degree from the Chinese Department of the Faculty of Alsun.
Her journey with writing started at a young age when she was a teenager with simple attempts at writing. She was influenced by reading a lot, especially, all the published works of المؤسسة العربية الحديثة
All her writings were personal essays and private drafts but in 2019, she started her own personal blog and explored writing and publishing essays, short stories, and reviews in Arabic.
Her first published work in print was with “What Women Want… Magazine Arabia” for their newest and one-of-a-kind project “Banat El Ayam Di” which is a book telling the stories of empowered Egyptian women. She participated in writing 6 stories.
